Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine

 

History: Founded in June 1959 as the only higher educational institute in Zhejiang province that specializes in training up high-level professionals of TCM.

In 1997,Zhejiang Provincial Government decided to move and re-build the college.

In March 6,2000, the college was moved to the present place and until now it is the most beautiful TCM college in China!

 

Location: Hangzhou city, one of seven famous Chinese ancient capital cities, a world-famous resort called “the Paradise on Earth”.

Campus:715 mu (48 hectare),192,400 m2 floor space, 820,000 vl collection of books .

Hospital:10 affiliated hospitals and 37 teaching/practicing hospitals.

Faculty:2,270, including 54 renowned veteran TCM doctors and 518 professors.

Students: full-time 9,106, part-time 2,147 and 178 overseas students.

Academic Programs:1 postdoctoral,4 doctor-degree,18 master-degree and 20 bachelor-degree programs covering the subjects of medicine, management, science, technology and arts.
