The programs are designed for students who would like to pursue high quality degree courses of English as teaching medium, as well as an intercultural experience and exploration in China. All courses are delivered in English by highly qualified lecturers and original English textbooks and teaching materials are used. Students who satisfy all the conditions prescribed by SCUT will be awarded Bachelor degrees. The first batch of programs available includes B.Eng. in Computer Science and Technology, B.Eng. in Food Science and Engineering and B.A. in Electronical Business and Logistics Management.

English-medium Master Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering
Program Objective
The objective of this program is to equip graduates, who seek a career in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), with in-depth knowledge in signal processing and control techniques for the design and development of electrical and computer control systems, both from software and hardware aspects. Students who pass all examinations and dissertation will be awarded a Master Degree of Engineering by South China University of Technology.

Admission Requirements
- Bachelor's degree holder with the ability to pursue research in the candidate's proposed field of advanced study.
- Applicants from non-English speaking countries are required to submit an IELTS 6.0 or take SCUT’s placement test.

Credit Requirement
Candidates are required to earn at least 28 credits for graduate, and attend a number of graduate level courses including public compulsory course, professional compulsory course, selective courses etc., as well as the participation in a practice project in digital systems or automation.
Practice
Candidates have to undergo a practice project including specification analysis, system design, simulation, implementation as well as system debugging, with the purposes of enabling them to learn the lifecycle of system design and development, and to apply their knowledge from course to solve the practical problems. A supervisor will be appointed to each candidate. The project lasts 3-4 weeks.
Dissertation
Upon the completion of the research project, the candidate is required to submit a thesis on his/her research for examination. The topic should have clear industrial or research background and obvious application values.
Degree
Candidates who complete coursework and pass oral defense will earn a master’s graduate diploma. A master’s degree will be granted after the approval by the Degree Assessment Committee.

Duration of study: 1 semester full time study

b) Master of Arts in Mandarin Studies in Technology by St Clements University.
Tuition: $5880, including textbook fee and accommodation fee (two bed room).
