Teaching experience: I was a private tutor for several students while studying at in Chongqing at Xinan Shifan Daxue. Also a volunteer for conversation at a local middle school in Beibei, Chongqing Other working experience: A night manager at a local grocery store, worked as a scientist in a chemistry lab doing research, also a chemistry tutor at my university.
I have lived in China for four months in 2004 while attending Southwest University in Chongqing and feel very comfortable living in a foreign culture and interacting with Chinese. I would prefer a position in Beijing because one of my goals while living in China is to improve my Mandarin, and I feel that that is the best place to learn mandarin. I would also appreciate a teaching position that includes free mandarin lessons.
