We would like to introduce ourselves, my fiancee and I are currently teaching at a University in Central south-west China, completing a 12 month contract which will end in late January 2006. Over the last two years we have had an incredible adventure that has taken us from the streets of Shanghai to the class rooms of Zhejiang University to the provincial towns and Universities of Hunan. We are looking for another challenge, one that will both enlighten us, allow us to learn new skills and give us the opportunity to work along side like minded people. We are most excited to be given the opportunity of gaining teaching position's in China.

We have had many experiences over a number of years, working in positions that have given us an extensive range of skills. From writing, graphic-design,
advertising, event management, marketing, New Media/web - development,
management and production, film/television production to most recently Cultural studies and Oral English teaching/lecturing in central south western China.

Combined we have close to ten years of teaching experience,
including ESL, Oral English training/lecturing, Cultural Studies
(background to English) Computer Studies, Computer based Design
Lecturing in Australia, China and The Philippines.
        
As stated in our C.V.'s you will note that we both have extensive
experience working with peoples from all walks of life and have a
commitment to education and the positive benefits that "learning" can
give to both adults and children alike and am of course culturally
sensitive.
        
Please note: We are currently teaching at a University in Hunan Province, I am teaching Cultural Studies (background to English) Oral English and Literature - and Cecilia (my Fiancee) is teaching Computer Science - and English for the "computer" major students. We are of course available from the end of January 2006. Please also note that we are both seeking a 12 month contract. You will note of course that Cecilia has a Filipino passport, although she lives in Australia with me (we are both permanent residents of Australia - I hold a British passport) Cecilia's English is of course perfect (English being the first language of the Philippines) having spent many years living and working in Australia, where we met.
