I am interested in any English literature or ESL instructor positions that are currently available.  I am particularly interested in teaching at a Chinese university.

As my enclosed resume shows, I have taught English literature and American history courses at Brandeis University.  I also have several years’ experience teaching English as a second language.  In Guangzhou, China, I taught English conversation and grammar to elementary school children.  In Nagoya, Japan, I taught oral and written English to high school pupils, college students, and adults.

Whenever I teach, I make extensive use of visual aides and other props to facilitate learning.  I believe that my past experiences teaching ESL to students and adults would make me an ideal candidate for any current English instructor positions.
